Utvilsomt det beste stedet for yoga i Bergen! Jeg har praktisert ved Yogarommet i flere år, og det er et unikt og inkluderende fellesskap hvor alle blir sett og ivaretatt. Det er dyktige og kunnskapsrike lærere som tilpasser undervisningen til den enkelte. Kan anbefales på det sterkeste!

I’ve been living in Bergen for four years now, and Yogarommet has become an important part of my life. It’s a peaceful and bright studio, with experienced teachers and classes for everyone (including in English, if requested). While there’s a great Vinyasa class, the studio’s core style is Iyengar.

I was originally trained in Ashtanga, and practicing Iyengar has been a delight — precision, core strength, body awareness (especially those shoulder blades!!), all while keeping it playful — or should I say humble?

I had a 3 night stay in Bergen during our family vacation to Norway and decided on a rainy Sunday morning to attend a yoga class. I called the studio just 10 minutes before the class and they said that the class can be offered in English. I felt very welcomed by the yoga teacher, Hanne who had told the class of about 15 students that a "tourist is coming" and therefore the whole class would be offered in English. I loved how well the class flowed gently and mindfully. The studio is beautiful with a very calm, positive feel. I had such a great and memorable yoga experience in a different part of the world.

Mediocre. Benedict is a nice teacher and she will train the class in English if you don’t understand Norwegian. This was a bit of culture shock for me. I have never practiced yoga under 9 fluorescent lights and people talking during the yoga session. Must be the #norwegian way, eh? 😳 Again, I wanted to feel the energy of Norway 🇳🇴 through this spot so why am I surprised? Norwegian culture and people have been a bit of shock for me. Practiced #iyengaryoga flow. Please don’t go with any expectation and just accept the flow and the vibe - the only way you will enjoy the spot. Pricey for a drop in as well (compared to North America). Namaste! 🙏

Amazing. Will teach in English or Norwegian. The owner/teacher is very knowledgeable and is a very good teacher that is alignment based. I highly recommend a class here.
