2025/7/2の早朝5:00ごろ。海岸沿いの美しい隠れた小道。北欧の短い夏を彩る白い花がたくさん咲いていた。看板に「シドスピッセン収容所の概要（1941年設立）」の説明があった。この美しい場所が、かつては悲しい歴史の場所だったことを知る。戦時中のノルウェーの歴史を知ることもできる。

Went for a stroll there during the winter times, while it was slippery (as anywhere else in Tromsø during those times), it was nonetheless very beautiful. Located at the very tip, you get an all time panoramic view of the Fords and mountains as you walk along the coast. Not too many people, with multiple benches for you to take a rest on (these were almost buried by snow though haha), I imagine this place would be perfect for a summer picnic too:)) probably also well suited for northern lights viewing

Locals obviously keep this place to themselves, as there are no mentions in the guidebook or brochures. Go there - sit on one of the many benches - bring a picnic or some coffee - and enjoy spectacular views across the fjords and the fjelds.

We had some time before our flight so thought we’d come and visit this point.
It was crazy windy so take warm clothes but the views were beautiful!
