Eine schöne Wanderung vom kostenlosen Wanderparkplatz (südlich des großen Parkplatzes) an der Fv 60 aus. Es sind nur wenige Leute unterwegs. Das Hüttendorf ist hübsch anzusehen und ein guter Ort für ein Picknick. Vom nebenliegenden Berg hat man eine gute Aussicht. Wer nicht den gleichen Rückweg nehmen möchte, geht einfach den Fahrtweg entlang. Die Strecke ist nicht so steil wie der Aufstieg, aber dafür ein kleines bisschen länger.

Støyvastøylen is a beautiful cabin village with gras-roofed homes located by the foot of Støyvafjellet and Skavegga. It's about an 1 hour hike from the mountain pass of the road between Byrkjelo and Utvik. If you feel like hiking some more, you can go up the mountain for a great view.
