This place was just so cozy and welcoming! From the minute we walked through the door, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was very comfortable, with lots of space, and also a nice spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean, calm, quiet and just designed for comfort. While we arrived a bit too late for the afternoon Fika, we were in time for the complimentary evening meal. I was quite surprised, I didn't expect it to be so good to be honest. There was a lovely soup, main course was salmon, and lots of salad/vegetables. Together with the rest, it made for great value on the stay. The location is central, and easily reachable on public transport from the airport (or would have been from the station, had the original plan to arrive by train worked out). Also convenient for the ferry to Svolvaer. I really hope to be able to visit Bodo again, and will definitely stay here if I can!

Hotel storico recentemente ristrutturato molto bene in stile nordico, con ampi spazi comuni, in pieno centro città. Camera piccolina, ma pulitissima. Letti comodi, ottimo wifi. Bagno un po' piccino. Cena a buffet compresa nel prezzo (escluse bevande e dolci), così come un'ottima colazione e anche la merenda. Personale molto cordiale. Possibilità di parcheggio nell'autorimessa al coperto (pagamento a parte, su prenotazione).

Nous y avons passé une nuit afin de prendre le ferry pour les lofoten le lendemain.|Chambre correcte mais la demi pension est incluse.... et ce n'est pas vraiment bon. Si j'avais su, je serais allé ailleurs et fait un bon restau. Le petit déjeuner est du même ordre. Je comprends le tarif qui est économique mais la restauration ne suis pas

We had an overnight stay at the Home Hotel Grand as we were passing through Bodo on our way to the Lofoten Islands. The hotel was easy to find, well located near the waterfront and the busy pedestrian shopping street. The code for the under-hotel parking area worked great and we were able to easily find our assigned space. To be honest, our room was uninspiring – rather small with an internal atrium view. The bathroom was tiny, definitely a 1-person deal. When you sit on the toilet, your legs go into the shower! There was no fridge and no smart TV – but at least the internet worked well so we could watch TV on our computer. On the positive side, the room was clean and comfortable and we had a good, peaceful sleep. We ate the buffet dinner at the restaurant which was included in the price. It was good for the most part – great salads and breads – however the main course (hot dogs) was a disappointment, and no dessert. I expected there to be at least a few options for the main course. We left too early to eat at the breakfast buffet, but we did receive a decent bagged lunch to eat on the ferry. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Hotellet er fortsatt det beste mtp beliggenhet, personalet er profesjonelle og hyggelige, og maten er god. Veldig kjekt å kunne forsyne seg av varm buffer, framfor å leite etter og betale dyrt for middag ute. Det eneste som skuffer, er at det er skitne stoler i restauranten. De har vært det en stund, og en rens hadde gjort det mer appetittelig å sitte der.

Unser Doppelzimmer,sowie das Bad, waren sauber und ordentlich. Der Blick in den Innenhof ist auch recht 'nett'. Die Betten sind schön groß 👍 - leider zu weich. Zum Abendessen, das im Preis enthalten ist, möchte ich, aus Höflichkeit, lieber nichts sagen. Das Frühstück hingegen ist sehr gut 👍.
Für 250 NOK gibt es auch einen Stellplatz in der Garage ✨.

Gammelt, ærverdig hotell. Litt slitt og ordinære rom. God frokost men buffé på kvelden var dårlig. En kveld kald lasagne og neste kveld svinekjøtt som gikk tomt og ble erstattet med kylling. Greit gateparkering i nærheten.

Mir hat es leider gar nicht gefallen.
Wir wurden zwar sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen,aber als wir in unser Zimmer eincheckten , fielen uns fremde ,schwarze Haare auf den Kissen und auf der Bettdecke auf. Das war widerlich.

Danach gingen wir zum Abendessen und Restaurant. Es war kaum noch etwas da 19 Uhr , bis 20 Uhr ging das Abendessen.
Zudem schmeckte alles fade und lieblos. Die Würstchen waren alt und verschrumpelt ,konnte man wirklich nicht essen.
Auch die Salate,die noch übrig waren ,konnten das Abendessen nicht retten.

Hinzu kam ,dass es im Zimmer die ganze Nacht laut war von der Lüftung oder einer Waschmaschine. Ich konnte es nicht zuordnen.
Alles in allem definitiv kein 4 Sterne Standard. Ich bin mehr als enttäuscht.
